Perinatal Equity Initiative - Community Advisory Board
Community Advisory Board
Our Community Advisory Board (CAB) brings community voices together to plan the work of PEI. This helps make sure that our work serves the needs of Black mothers and babies and improves their care and health. Our CAB includes many kinds of people, such as:
- parents
- doulas
- health providers
- Public Health staff
- breastfeeding experts
- community groups
- staff from local health plans, and
- other community leaders
If equal birthing care for all Santa Clara County residents is important to you, join our work!
To become a CAB member, you must:
- work, live, and/or play in Santa Clara County
- come to the meetings, and
- support the work to reduce causes of unequal care for Black birthing persons
