The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department has been notified of a measles case in a person who does not live in Santa Clara County. This person was in the county during their infectious period and visited the public places listed below. Anyone who visited these locations at the following dates and times may be at risk of developing measles:

Monday, July 1 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Starbucks at 624 Blossom Hill Road, Los Gatos CA 95032

Monday, July 1 from 6 to 10 p.m.: Taqueria Los Pericos at 139 Water St, Santa Cruz CA 95060

Tuesday, July 2 from 5:15 to 7:30 a.m.: San José Mineta International Airport, Terminal B, Southwest Airlines Flight WN 2804

All births and deaths in Santa Clara County are registered here. We do not sell birth or death certificates, which must be purchased from a different County agency: the Clerk-Recorder's Office.



Public Health Pharmacies
Better Health Pharmacy offers donated medications that are unopened and unexpired to patients at no cost. Other public health pharmacies fill patients' prescriptions and bill patients' insurance, supporting TB treatment and other care.



STD and HIV Testing and Support
The Public Health Department offers free HIV and Hepatitis C testing in addition to low-cost STD screening, clinical evaluations for STDs, and treatment for STDs (including PrEP and PEP).



Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
Find out if you qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Program, which provides food and supports breastfeeding for low-income pregnant or breastfeeding women, and their infants and children up to age 5.



California Children’s Services (CCS)
CCS coordinates and pays for approved medical treatments and health care for eligible children and young adults under 21 years of age.
