Staff 2015

Due to the current COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place order, the County of Santa Clara's California Children's Services offices are temporarily closed. Benefits and eligibility staff are available by phone at (408) 793-6200, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. In-person physical therapy and occupational therapy appointments are cancelled. The Medical Therapy staff are available by calling (408) 793-5900, or you can contact your child’s assigned therapist by email.

The California Children's Services Medical Therapy Program is for children 0-21 years old with certain medical conditions. These are physical problems that affect the child's ability to control movements of the body.

The program provides:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Durable medical equipment consultation
  • Home and school consultation

All services are provided free to families whose child has a medically eligible condition. The purpose of the Medical Therapy Program is to promote the greatest possible physical independence in eligible children.
