California Children's Services Medical Therapy Program
The California Children's Services Medical Therapy Program is a special program for children 0 to 21 years old with certain medical conditions related to the brain, nervous system, muscles, or joints. These conditions may affect the child's ability to move and/or care for themselves.
The program provides:
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Durable medical equipment consultation
- Home and school consultation
All services are provided free to families with a child who has an eligible condition. The purpose of the Medical Therapy Program is to help eligible children gain the most physical independence possible.
The Medical Therapy Program provides services at three Medical Therapy Units:
