In recognition of STI Awareness Week in April every year, the Public Health Department’s Sexual Health and Harm Reduction Program sponsors a sexual health video contest for high school youth in the County called the Viral Video Contest. The contest encourages high school age youth in Santa Clara County to produce an original video (no more than 90 seconds long) directed at their peers to encourage safer sexual health behavior, normalize STI/HIV testing and reduce stigma. Contest winners and their school or youth organization receive cash prizes.
Deadline to participate is March 8, 2024.
