County Opening New High-Capacity Testing Site at Fairgrounds Testing 1,000 People Daily by Friday and Up To 5,000 in the Future

Santa Clara County, CA –The County of Santa Clara is opening a new COVID-19 testing site, run by Valley Medical Center, which is anticipated to become the highest capacity test center in the region. Testing capabilities at the site will be up to 1,000 people daily by week’s end, with the ability to expand to up to 5,000 people per day, more than any other site in the Bay Area. The location has also been identified for large scale flu shots in the fall and as a future COVID-19 vaccine location if vaccines become available.
