Site will have the capacity to vaccinate 1,000 to 2,000 residents per day, advancing the County’s efforts to increase vaccine access in the most impacted areas of the county
Santa Clara County, CA County of Santa Clara and Gilroy Unified School District officials announced the launch of a new large-scale vaccination site at Gilroy High School, located at 750 W. 10th Street in Gilroy. The site is part of the County’s ongoing, expansive effort to ensure robust access to vaccine in the areas of the county with the highest rates of COVID-19. Gilroy is one of the most impacted communities in Santa Clara County, with more than 1 in 10 residents having contracted COVID-19.
