The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department is announcing one new death from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to six in Santa Clara County. An adult male in his 60s was hospitalized on Thursday, March 5 and passed away on Tuesday, March 17. The Public Health Department expresses our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department continues to work closely with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the State of California Department of Public Health, and other partners as the new coronavirus situation continues to change.
