Women Of Wellness (WOW) Program          Doula Program

The Public Health Department Perinatal Equity Initiative (PEI) partners with Roots Community Health Center to provide Women of Wellness (WOW) and doula services to improve the health of African/African Ancestry women and their babies.

WOW

The WOW Program educates, motivates, and supports black women of childbearing age to be healthy and well. The program teaches women how to prepare for a healthy pregnancy and how to stay healthy after birth. Virtual group sessions give WOW clients time to connect, learn, and talk about topics like healthy eating, exercise, managing stress, and more.

WOW clients can also sign up for one-on-one sessions with a Maternal Health Navigator to talk about their personal goals and plan how to reach them.

Sign up for WOW.
