HIV and Aging
In 2020, 52 percent of all people living with HIV were 50 years of age or older in Santa Clara County. This is expected to increase given the number of people who can live healthy and longer lives thanks to advances in biomedical sciences.
The Getting to Zero (GTZ) HIV and Aging Program was created to navigate people through the various resources and clinical services that are available to them to live their best life while going through natural aging.
Interested in the HIV and Aging Program?
Do you need a doctor who is knowledgeable about HIV or need help accessing HIV medications? Interested in mental health counseling, receiving home-visits, or other services? Are you over age 50? The HIV and Aging program may be able to help connect you to services you need.
The GTZ HIV and Aging Program addresses care gaps for people living with HIV who are over the age of 50 in Santa Clara County by connecting and linking individuals to the clinical and non-clinical services listed below.
